Lexus equipped the RC with lightweight 19-inch wheels, a carbon aero package, and carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes as part of the Track Edition. By eliminating the heated and ventilated seat features and substituting carbon fiber for some body panels, it has also reduced weight by a total of 80 kg (176 lb). You may anticipate the RC Track Edition to be a relentless, extreme on-road racer given this concept, but that isn’t the case.

The combination of the word “track” with a large, naturally aspirated V8 engine will never be a champion of fuel economy. Following around 470 kilometers of testing, the vehicle’s trip computer displayed 13.7 L/100 km. In terms of driving experience, the RC Track Edition’s relative tameness is a tad disappointing, but it’s a comfort enhancer. Before reaching its goal, the IS 500 will only cost $72,900, by the way. Like the previously mentioned LC and BMW M4, the IS 500 is also a rather common, non-special edition car that you don’t need to be blood relatives with to obtain. It can be obtained from your local Lexus dealer principle. However, the RC Track Edition would undoubtedly be a great and incredibly uncommon addition to your collection if you’re a die-hard Lexus fan with extra cash than you know what to do with. No other Lexus coupe can truly claim to be less frequent than the renowned LFA, even if they may not even exist in the same world.
